Planning a test on UU Chromebooks

This page explains how to schedule a test on the UU Chromebooks via the web app. For the complete step-by-step plan to schedule a test (with all the different options), click here.

Making a summative test available for taking in the exam rooms on the university’s Chromebooks goes as follows:

  • Step 1

    From the Class editing window, click the Assign modules button under the third column (Modules).

  • Step 2

    Open the tree in the left column and select the right module.

  • Step 3

    Make sure the module is selected in the right column.

  • Step 4

    Under Protected, choose YES, this will only make the test visible on the UU Chromebooks.

  • Step 5

    Choose the accessibility period (date + start and end time of the test).

  • Step 6

    Enter a password, which the students will get in the exam room.

  • Step 7

    Click the Save button.

  • Note that the test exists in the list of linked modules. Because the test is created as Shielded, it is NOT visible in the normal environment (https://numworx.uu.nl), but only on the Chromebooks in the exam rooms of the UU.
